Get free accessAttio is the first MCP-native CRM connected to Aircall's AI Voice Agents, live at launch. Together, we’re showing what voice AI can do when it can act inside the systems a business actually runs on.
Two AI-native platforms, one conversation
The next competitive advantage in sales and customer service isn't a better AI model. It's a more connected one. Aircall is opening its AI ecosystem so voice and messaging agents can work across a customer's entire stack. Attio is an AI-native CRM built to help companies model, scale, and grow their operations. Joining them is a natural fit: a voice agent that holds a real conversation, and a CRM built from the ground-up for the AI era, connected through one open standard.
Attio is the first MCP-native CRM to connect to Aircall's AI Voice Agents, and it’s live. It’s a milestone for both products and the clearest example yet of why an open AI ecosystem matters.
Attio and Aircall: a deep integration for better team performance
For years, the Aircall and Attio integration has done what good integrations do for human teams. Reps call any contact with Click-to-Dial from any Attio person or company record, and call notes and insights sync automatically back into Attio. No manual data entry, no switching tools, no losing context between the dialer and the CRM.
That integration was built for a person in the loop. The MCP partnership is built for an AI agent in the loop. The difference is what the agent can do mid-conversation. Instead of writing notes back after a call, Attio's data and actions become reachable while the call is still live, so the AI agent can look up a contact, check the state of a deal, or update a record in real time as part of resolving the conversation.
That’s the leap: from syncing data after the fact to acting on it in the moment.
How it works
The mechanics are deliberately simple, which is the point of MCP. Attio exposes its capabilities as tools through an MCP server, with clear schemas and descriptions. Aircall's agents discover those tools automatically and call them when a conversation requires it. There is no bespoke, brittle integration layer to maintain on either side. When a workflow changes, the schema changes, and the agent adapts.
Because MCP is becoming the standard for AI agent interoperability, the work Attio did to connect to Aircall is not single-use. The same MCP server works with every AI platform that speaks the protocol. Connect once, and every Aircall AI product can use it, from AI Voice Agents taking actions to AI Assist logging outcomes back into the record. The capability is also being added to Attio Workflow Blocks, extending it further into how Attio customers already work.
What it looks like in practice
Picture an inbound call to a sales or support line where an AI agent answers:
A customer calls about an account. The agent identifies them and pulls their current record and recent activity from Attio in real time, with no transfer and no hold.
A prospect asks about a proposal. The agent checks the deal stage in Attio and answers from live data instead of a stale snapshot.
This conversation produces a next step; the agent updates the Attio record or logs the outcome as the call ends, so the CRM reflects reality the moment the conversation does.
The human team still gets everything the classic integration delivered: Click-to-Dial, automatic call notes, and synced insights. The MCP layer adds a second beneficiary, the AI agent, working from the same source of truth. Teams no longer choose between a CRM that’s current and an agent that’s autonomous. They get both, because both read and write to the same live data.
Why it matters for customers
For our shared customers, the value is immediate. Conversations get resolved rather than just handled, because the agent acts on CRM data instead of asking the caller to wait for a human. The CRM stays current automatically, with call outcomes reflected in Attio without anyone updating a field. And teams run their existing stack rather than rebuilding it for AI. The CRM that already anchors their workflow simply becomes reachable by their voice agent.
It also compounds. Because Attio is connected through Aircall's open ecosystem, every Aircall customer using Attio can switch this capability on, and as more partners join, the same agent grows more capable across the rest of the stack. The value of connecting once grows with every new tool that joins.
Setting the pattern
Attio proves the model end-to-end: an AI-native CRM and an AI voice platform, connected over an open standard, resolving conversations together. It’s the template every future MCP partner can follow, and a signal of where voice AI is heading. Agents are most useful not when they answer questions, but when they act on the systems a business already trusts.
For other partners weighing the move, Attio is the proof point. The build is light, the standard is open, and the reach is every Aircall customer from day one. This is the first MCP partnership for voice AI. But now, with an open ecosystem on the most integrated AI platform, it won't be the last.
