Olivier began his career at The Boston Consulting Group and ArcelorMittal. While working in large enterprises, he saw the opportunity to improve the way businesses connect with customers on the phone. This insight prompted him to enter the start-up world and create Aircall. Olivier holds an MBA from HEC School of Management in Paris.

Jonathan Anguelov

Jonathan has always had entrepreneurship in his DNA, with a particular passion for technology and property. He co-founded Aircall in 2014 with Olivier Pailhès (Aircall CEO), Pierre-Baptiste Béchu (CTPO) and Xavier Durand, and focused on Aircall’s growth, managing revenue teams globally. Today, as CSO, he leads Aircall’s global sales force. Jonathan is one of the 50 leaders under 40 who are shaking up the French economy.

Pierre-Baptiste joined Aircall as a co-founder in 2014, building the first version of the solution's backend and infrastructure from scratch. He now leads a team of over 20 engineers, responsible for Aircall's communications platform. Under his leadership, the team deploys Aircall's services worldwide with a strong focus on reliability, voice quality and security. Pierre-Baptiste holds a Master of Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon and a master's degree in industrial and organisational psychology from Université Lumière Lyon 2.

Aircall’s Beginning
The idea for Aircall was born at the eFounders studio in Paris in 2014. Realising that a telephone system is complex and expensive to set up, the co-founders set themselves the challenge of revolutionising business telephony. In just a few weeks, they built the first version of Aircall. As they realised the potential of their idea, the four entrepreneurs began facing technical and operational challenges.
How do you deliver the best possible call quality from various environments and local providers? How do you develop a reliable and durable architecture in a constantly changing space? After completing 500 Startups' 2015 Batch in San Francisco, Olivier Pailhes, Jonathan Anguelov, Xavier Durand and Pierre-Baptiste Béchu then raised $2.75 million to make their project a reality. In 5 months, the team grew from 5 to 15 people and turnover tripled. Aircall's success story had only just begun.
